I’m leavin’ on a jet plane… for #GayRomLit2013

Tomorrow I get up super-early so I can get out the door around 5 am for my flight to Atlanta for GayRomLit 2013.

I’m so excited for this trip to see old friends and make new ones. I can’t believe how much my life has changed since the first GRL in New Orleans two years ago. I’ve met some wonderful people, connected with people I only knew online, and found deeper friendships with people I had already met.

This year I’m doing a Storyteller panel with Geoff Knight and JP Bowie about writing mystery/suspense (and for me action/adventure). I love that there aren’t a lot of women writing the adventure side, and maybe we’ll talk about that too. It’s at 11.15 on Friday, so if you are at GRL, please stop by and listen to whatever we end up saying.

I’ll be signing books on Saturday, and I’m bringing a bunch of backlist paperbacks.

I’m about to try to cram everything into the suitcases! Wish me luck.
