Quickie #poll: Author photos

It’s tough enough to write a book and get it published, but authors have more to worry about. Writing bios is tough and we also must choose whether to share an author photo on our websites or even on the book cover.

As a reader, what’s your opinion on author photos? Do you buy if you like how an author looks? Do you not buy if the author doesn’t look the way you expect him to? Does your opinion change for fiction vs. non-fiction?
