Welcome to the Backlist Bloghop

Welcome to the Backlist BloghopCan you remember what you were reading last month or back at Christmastime? Probably not. With the number of books being published, it seems after only a week or a month most of them fade out of our consciousness. If we don’t buy it immediately, chances are we’ll forget because something new and shiny distracts us.

The Backlist Bloghop is a great way for authors and readers to take a step back in time and focus on a few older titles that have faded into obscurity. But that doesn’t meant they aren’t worth reading!

If you haven’t met me before, I write gay romance and I have a few personal favorite books I’d like to share with you, in case you missed them the first time around.

Leave a comment with your favorite cover from my backlist and you can win any book off the list (1 book prize awarded per 10 comments left on this blog). I’ll also throw in a $10 Amazon Gift Card for one lucky winner. Prizes to be awarded June 3, after 6pm Pacific Time.

HostileTakeover2Hostile Takeover is a friends-to-lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers story. And it features two smoking Olympic fencers. Have I got your interest yet? I hope so. Here’s the blurb:

Years ago, Chase Richards and Mathias Tobler fell in love while training for the US Olympic fencing team. Afterward, they even attended the same business school so they could be together. Then Chase left Mathias alone and heartbroken in Italy. But all of that is ancient history by the time Chase thunders back into Mathias’s safe, settled life with a business deal.

There’s no way Mathias is going to do business with Chase. He spent nine years picking up the pieces and has moved on in life—and love. But Chase won’t give up without a fight. If Mathias wants to save it, he’ll have to face off against Chase over crossed sabers.

Chase has a reputation as an unscrupulous corporate raider, and he must win Mathias back—by any means necessary—before he gives his heart to someone else. But how does a cold-blooded corporate raider convince the man he loves that his heart really isn’t made of stone? (Learn more)

Many great covers to choose from, but I would choose Brand New Flavor due to the scrumptious ice cream filled waffle bowl. Sweets are my downfall.

It’s hard to believe that someone’s backlist becomes forgotten when there really are great stories there. As soon as I find a new author, I’m delighted to plunge into their backlist (that sounds so dirty!) and get caught up on their wonderful stories.

Rarer than Rubies has to be my favorite, followed by Italian Ice, probably one of the reasons I bought them, besides the intriguing blurbs and excerpts once I read about them. Thanks so much for the chance to win!
