I don’t always have a chance to balance my time between writing and reading. Lately, I’m trying to make more time to read.
I found this book at a recent trip to the SF Public Library and I recommend it highly.
It’s a great collection of short stories, all revolving around men’s underwear. I can choose one based on how much time I have to read, which makes it handier than a novel. The other night I scared a lot of people on the train because I was laughing out loud at a hilarious gay retelling of Cinderella. Complete with an evil stepfather and two “houseboys” instead of step-sisters. And our Cinderalla boy has to prove his identity with a glass codpiece. Well worth checking out!
On the non-erotica side of things (and yes, I do read that as well!) I also checked out Happy Hour at Casa Dracula. It’s a fast read and I got through about 100 pages of it while waiting at the doctor’s office last week. It started off absolutely hilarious about a woman who gets bitten by a vampire, though no one calls them that. It’s just a genetic disorder. I must have scared some other patients because I was laughing out loud again. It’s set in San Francisco, so it’s fun to guess where the action is taking place. I’m going to try and finish it this weekend, just to give my arm a rest from all the writing I did yesterday!
mens underweare should be as comfortable as possible because men always engages in a lot of physical work~’;
