Sample DMCA Takedown Notices

Every author I know has found their work on pirate sites. Email this letter with the appropriate information to the host website. Often they have a special abuse@ or DMCA@ email address, but they are not posted where you can easily find them. I found if you Google “site name DMCA” you may be able to find the correct address.

Torrents are impossible to fight, but you may try contacting the search engine that displays the results sending people to the illegal torrent download. Use the second form of the letter, specifically for search engines.

Good luck!
